The core principle of distant healing with Reiki lies in the understanding that energy is everywhere, connecting all living things. Much like the way you can tune into a live television broadcast regardless of your location, Reiki operates through universal energy that transcends all physical barriers.

Reiki is simply a Japanese word that translates as ‘universal spiritual energy’. This energy, life force energy is all around us. It’s the energy that I’m referencing above.

Each of us live and breathe this energy. Unfortunately, lots of us over time restrict the flow of this spiritual, life force energy that affects our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Holding onto trauma, ill health, and suppressing negative feelings can create such blockages.

Can anyone send Reiki?

A Reiki practitioner has undergone a reiki attunement to facilitate the flow of spiritual energy. Their energy is vibrating at a higher frequency, which enables a connection with divine source energy. As a result, they begin their healing journey. This is why a Reiki practitioner can connect with divine source energy and channel it to you without any barriers. As a practitioner, I can send this beautiful loving energy to heal your past, or future.

Many believe that the Reiki attunement also activates a spiritual cleansing however, if one doesn’t look after their wellbeing, blockages can form. The same applies to people who are not attuned to Reiki but who receive treatments of Reiki. For Reiki to be effective, regular treatments are encouraged with the client incorporating a self-care routine between treatments.

How Distant Healing Using Reiki Works

Moreover, intention and a belief is essential for distant healing with Reiki to work. An intention is not a physical item. It’s energy!

An intention is a thought, an idea, and if positive, can manifest great things. Belief is another important factor for Reiki to work, whether in person or not.
